Learning to Take It Slow
I’m back! It’s been a few weeks, I know. Let me catch you up a little. I recently started a new job. I’m the new Content Editor/Producer at HOLA! USA and I’d be lying if I didn’t say the past three weeks have been a whirlwind as I’ve been learning so much new information while getting accustomed to the job. I’m super excited to take on the role, but it’s also why I haven’t updated this baby. Anyway, I’m working on becoming better organized so that I can continue writing for my blog.
As a creative, I’m constantly thinking of new projects and ideas. There is so much I want to do, and I often stress myself out because I feel I don’t have the time (or energy) to do all these things. I need to learn to take on projects one-at-a-time and to focus on finishing current projects instead of jumping ahead which ironically only slows me down. Finding work/life balance has often been a struggle as I want to spend time with my husband, friends, attend social events, gym time, and work on side projects, all while having a have a full-time job.
Tell me, how do you organize yourself? Do you have any tips for becoming better at this? If so, let me know in the comments below!
