Hair Accessories, Glossier's Cloud Paint and More January Favorites
It’s been a minute since I’ve done a blog post featuring any random items or beauty products I’m currently loving. I’m thinking of doing this every month, but let’s see how long I can keep it up. This time I’m sharing some of my favorite of-the-moment skincare products as well as makeup essentials and hair-related tidbits. Until next time!
Elaborate Hair ties, scrunchies, barrettes – basically all hair accessories are having an IT moment, and I’ve joined the band. I’m especially into hair clips and barrettes like the ones above. I’m especially into hair clips and barrettes like the ones above. They’re easy and fun to wear, and you can find them just about anywhere these days.
I love Glossier’s Cloud Paint for my extra dry winter skin. It’s super pigmented, so you only need a little product, and the color Storm is a warm rose that looks pretty awesome.
I purchased a gift set that included the Glow Recipe Watermelon Pink Juice Moisturizer and Glow Sleeping Mask mini inside this really cute bag. I’ve been loving the moisturizer, but I think I’ll like it more in the summer. However, for the cooler months when my skin feels extra dry, I can wear it as a serum under a heavier cream. The sleeping mask, on the other hand, I didn’t get any major results.
From the moment I saw these earrings by Ale Bremer I knew I had to have them. Not only did I love the serpent design but they’re a perfect size, and I love the dangly detail. I’ve been wearing them nonstop the last couple of months.
I don’t use a lot of hair products, but I do like to apply hair serum or oil every day. This one from the Kristin Ess line has a lovely scent and combats frizz without weighing down my hair. It also adds shine and helps keep my hair looking healthy.
This post is heavy on blush, but when it comes to makeup essentials, I can’t do without a blush. I loved these two shades from Neutrogena’s new makeup line, N. They both have a subtle shimmer which gives a radiant finish. The one on the left reminds me of Nars Orgasm.
