Current Beauty Faves
It's been a while since I've let you in on my current beauty favorites, and I don't know about you, but I personally love learning what beauty products others have been using (so always feel free to share!).
Lately I've been hearing that skincare is a scam, but to me, (besides actually seeing results) it's a moment of relaxation. Whether it's slathering on face moisturizer, putting on a sheet mask, or doing my makeup, it's a few minutes of just being in the moment.
So with that, here's a few things I've been loving in the past month.
DR. JART Ceramidin Day Tint Tinted Moisturizer
This has become my daily go-to. It’s a super light moisturizer with just-right tint (hence the name) that smooths my skin while giving me a natural glow. I treat it as I would a foundation and apply it (with my fingers) as my last step in skincare. My dry skin has been living for it!
However, the only MAJOR issue is that it comes in only one shade. That’s right, just ONE–which to me is unbelievable at this point in time. Currently it’s for light beige/neutral undertones, but I really hope they can expand to meet all skin tones.
YSL TOUCH ECLAT Radiance Perfecting Pen
This magic little wand instantly brightens and awakens my eyes, leaving my under eye area looking beautifully radiant. I like that it’s sheer but you can also build up. I’m especially thankful for this on mornings in which I got little to no sleep. Mine’s in the shade Luminous Ivory.
Milk Holographic Lip Gloss in Lavender
It’s been a minute since I’ve reached or even owed a lip gloss. I stopped wearing them because I couldn’t stand that gross, sticky feeling–and I still don’t. But that’s what I like about this one. Not only am I here for the pretty, holographic lavender shade (if you read my last post you know ATM I'm all about lavender), but it also has a nice texture–the kind that doesn’t dry out your lips. I like to wear it alone or over a pink-y lipstick.
Kiehl’s Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado
I’m all about eye cream and this one quickly became a favorite. I’m half-way through my second jar and I already know I’ll be getting a third. This creamy treatment has a bit of a moist, almost gel-like texture that deeply moisturizers and quickly absorbs. As the name states it contains avocado oil, and I’ve learned it works well on both dry and oily skin types. I dab it both in the morning right after I wash my face and then again at night.
Dr. Roebucks Ultra Hydrating Serum
For the past month I’ve been using this night serum as part of my routine and I’ve noticed a significant difference in hydration. The next day my skin feels smooth and hydrated, and tightness just feels like a thing of the past!
Let me know if there's anything you've been loving or you think I should try out. I'm always excited to try new products!
