It's Ok to Mesh Up

It's Ok to Mesh Up

New York weather has been on a flux lately. There are days when it actually feels like summer, others where it feels more like spring (thanks to the showers), and others that fall under the category of sweater weather–which is why I can't help but think about fall in the midst of summer.

Although I'm hoping for a few more beach days, I have to be real and accept autumn will be here in no time–heck there's already nights in which I'll be wearing a sweatshirt in my apartment! And don't get me wrong, I LOVE fall in the city, but I'm just not quite ready to say goodbye to summertime yet.

However, I couldn't wait until September to show you this mesh bodysuit I've been obsessing over. You may not know this but I have a strong thing for sheer tops, and this one was no exception. It's so simple yet that's exactly what makes it so perfect. Simplicity translates to most versatile piece EVER.

But as you may know, there's a fine line with see-through clothes, which is why I paired it with denim. You know, to balance it out. When in doubt opt for denim. It always comes to the rescue when you need to tone things down a bit. I kept the rest of the look pretty minimal with a belt my grandpa gave me on my last visit, a bullet necklace, and my new favorite crossbody, which I bought on a day trip to Bosnia from Croatia a few months back. And to add further meaning to the autumnal vibes I added a hat!

Next time I wear this bodysuit it'll be under my favorite sundress.

Wearing [BLANKNYC] jeans (similar here), mesh bodysuit c/o TOBI, Texas Star belt (from my grandfather, but similar buckle here!), Komono sunglasses, and hat from Urban Outfitters (similar here).
