One LBD, 3 Different Ways

One LBD, 3 Different Ways

Now that I come to think of it, it's been a while since I've owned an everyday LBD. And now I wonder, where has this mesh dress been my entire life? No, really. Like, how have I not owed a dress like this before?

This t-shirt dress has become one of my favorite and most versatile basics. Not only is it insanely easy to style, but it's ultra comfortable and perfect for anything from brunch to a GNO, or even a casual date–which is why I wanted to show you three ways I like to style it. Check 'em out and let me know which look is your favorite!

1. Two is better than one

In (literally) a snap, this skirt takes the look from a solo to a two-piece outfit. I just had to make sure the dress didn't peak out from down under, but that was quickly fixed by doing a little tugging at the waist. Come fall, I'll be adding a pair of sheer tights, booties, and a thin coat.

2. Simply Sophisticate

To give the dress a whole new and refined twist, I added a wide belt, block heel sandals, and a colorful clutch. That's really all it takes to completely transform an outfit's vibes.

3. Top it off

This button-down shirt belonged to my grandmother and on my last visit to see my grandparents in Mexico, they kindly let me get away with a few of their possessions. I was immediately drawn to this bright printed top. I loved how classic and retro it is, yet I can totally incorporate it with my modern-day style.

Wearing mesh LBD c/o TOBI.

Look One: White Crow suede skirt–similar here.

Look Two: Brash shoes–similar here + thrifted, belt, necklace, & clutch.

Look Three: Similar top here.
