It's officially spring! But I have a feeling New York's not fully on board with my notion of spring-like weather, which is why I've continued to wear faux fur jackets well until the end of March.
Almost four years living in Brooklyn and I still have hopes of wearing true representations of spring clothing, but even though I'm sitting here wishing for warmer temperatures, that's not the only reason I like to welcome the season. I also like to take this time to declutter and get rid of clothing, shoes, accessories, and all the other junk I no longer need in my life–like that random kitchen appliance I once purchased on an impulse, but have never used, and never will.
I also like to get rid of things that aren't working in my life. I believe it's necessary to make room for new energy in order to attract new and exciting things–whether that be my exercise routine, what I'm eating, or how I making use of my time–I think it's important to make those changes as it allows me to refocus and get back on track.
What about you? What do you love about spring?
