Living for Pink
Remember how I wrote about my current fascination with pink (if you don't, you can read all about it here)? Well, I went ahead and bought myself a pair of pants in the bubblegum shade. This was definitely me stepping out of my comfort zone as I don't believe I've ever worn a pair of pink pants that weren't picked out by my mom when I was two or something along those lines.
I wasn't planning on shooting these until spring, but last week's unseasonably warm weather was just what I needed to get me in a colorful mood. Not to mention, the street art around Bushwick in Brooklyn was the perfect background for this ensemble. Almost everywhere we turned there was some kind of amazing backdrop.
Because we're still in winter I paired them with a long sleeve crop top and a light leather jacket and finished off the look with booties and one of my favorite souvenirs from my trip to China a few years ago, a simple yet beautiful jade necklace.
I'm so looking forward to wearing these in the springtime–you know I'm already planning some exciting looks!
