A Low Key Date Night Look

A Low Key Date Night Look

As you already know, Valentine's Day is tomorrow and though I'm sure most of you planned your outfit weeks in advance, I though I'd still share a date night outfit you can rock Tuesday night or really, any other given date night.

If I'm being honest here, JL and I aren't too big on celebrating Valentine's Day. Yes, we do acknowledge the holiday, but we no longer make big dinner reservations like we used to, and we certainly don't give each other large cuddly teddy bears–not that we ever did, but you know. Now we're all about staying cozied in, drinking wine and maybe cooking a simple dinner ourselves–which is exactly what we'll be doing tomorrow night.

For this look I wanted something feminine so I opted for a midi skirt and high platforms, but because I still wanted a little edge I added a leather jacket–which immediately equals edgy–and a statement belt to add to the edgy vibes. Like everyone else, I'm also really into the whole fishnets trend, and though I've had these socks forever, I'd never paired them with sandals before. I actually really liked the turnout. What do you guys think? Let me know if you liked this look in the comments below!

And whether you have plans with your S.O., your gals, or yourself, I wish you all a Happy Valentine's Day!
