By now you've probably taken note of the major embroidery trend going around. Everything from clothes to shoes and even bags are being covered with beautiful floral designs. I myself am hooked on the trend, but it's something I've been fond of for quite a while now.
You see, in Mexico embroidery is a classic work of art that's emblematic to the culture. I remember trying to make some creations of my own at my grandparent's when I was little. I'm obsessed with the alluring and and colorful art of the Otomi dresses and the uniqueness they embody–hence why I fell in love with this dress.
I'd been seeing it from afar for months and when I finally got my hands on it (at 50 percent off!) there was no way I was going to wait months to wear it–so I wore it over pants. I hardly do this–in fact I never do this, but I actually liked the turnout. What do you think?
